A deck of cards is shown to have been ‘mis-shuffled’, some of the cards are face up and some of the cards are face down. Spread the cards out and ask your guest to choose any one of the face up cards. They are
to remove it from the spread, show it to their friends, then turn the card face down and place it anywhere back in the spread of cards that they wish. Advise them that you will turn around so as not to see the card that they chose. Once they have completed this you turn back around, pick up all the cards and give them a quick shuffle. When you spread the cards back out it is seen that now all the cards have turned face down except for one card and one card only – their chosen card. Incredible …
