This is from a magic lot and it is an originial blooming rose. It is metal with the mecognisim from the bottom and not riding the side. The red rose is also a hook flower and the lot also includes 2 bags of flowers which looks to have never been open. 
This works great and is ready to be put in your show or be that peice that brightens up your magic collection.
